Course Description:
This course is designed to teach you how to protect yourself and your license when working in California as a registered nurse, as well as best practices and important legal considerations for documentation in nursing. Explore strategies for minimizing legal risk and liabilities in nursing practice related to things like Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, and other healthcare-related legal issues.

Legal Nurse Expert Consultant who has over 24 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse within various specialties and disciplines, from Hospital Administration and management of in-patient units in acute care hospitals to outpatient surgery centers. As an experienced RN, Charlene has experience in Critical Care RN, Trauma RN, Neuro Trauma RN, and Emergency Care RN. Pre and Post Anesthesia Care Unit RN (pediatric and adult), Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Progressive Care Unit, and Float pool Units.
Charlene specializes in Medical Record Analysis and Chronology, Plaintiff Medical Exams, Defendant Medical Exams, and Literature Research.
